The purpose of Watersprings Ranch is to help restore abused, neglected,
or abandoned children their right to a childhood.
Watersprings Ranch is a tax-exempt, non-profit, non-denominational
Christian organization providing residential housing for children in need.
The Ranch currently has five group homes and serves forty boys and girls.
Two group homes are located within a beautiful 40-acre setting identified
as the South Property. The Ranch offices, recreation center, and three group
homes are located within the 70-acre North Property.
Watersprings Ranch receives an average of three calls per week for children
needing placement. The ultimate goal of the Ranch is to provide the maximum
care, counseling, and housing possible to meet the needs of these who are in
need of our services.
In addition to providing for the needs of the children, the Ranch's primary
goal is for the restoration of the home, whenever possible. The Parent Training
Program is a vital part of the services the Ranch provides and is essential
for the potential reunification of the family.
The group homes are for boys and girls, twelve years of age or younger at the
time of acceptance. However, they may remain as long as necessary. Children are
accepted for a minimum of one year.
